Royal Honda Tire Health Symptoms

Your tire pressure effects more then you realize.  Everything from handling, fuel economy, to road wear can be brought back to this simple but often overlooked trait.  Thankfully Honda has begun to implement Low Pressure Indicators in the majority of our cars.  This can keep you riding happy.

The light comes on when your tire has lost more then 20% pressure and looks like this:

Also, keep in mind this can be from normal usage or a nail.  So check for nails before driving the Causeway Bridge is this light is on.  A normal tire naturally looses about 2 pounds of air in a 30 day period.  So it will come on a few times a year.  Additionally, Winter weather may cause it to come on if the tire was already in the lower range of acceptable pressure.

All Honda's have the correct pressure for your particular car and tires in the door jam on a sticker.

We now have a air hose installed in the service lane so if you drive in we can fill your tires and have you driving off in a matter of a few minutes.  Also, Royal Honda now offers Nitrogen as an option.  Nitrogen molecules are larger so they do not escape as easily over time.  Ask a service adviser if you are interested in Nitrogen.

And in case you did not know, you can schedule service via email at our website at http://www.royalhonda.com/schedule-service/
