Dopo i precedenti capitoli sembra che il maestro e il suo allievo abbiano finito la moto che devono portare al contest di Cafe Racer . Sara battaglia dura ! 

Superprestigio Dirt Track

Marquez si dimostra anche fuori dalle piste del motomondiale un pilota affamato , che non ci sta a perdere e ogni occasione è buona per entrare in bagarre e dare del gas .

Ecco dei bei traversi durante il Superprestigio , quasi come quelli che ci ha fatto vedere durante lo scorso campionato  

SIGN PAINTERS

There was a time, as recently as the 1980s, when storefronts, murals, banners, barn signs, billboards, and even street signs were all hand-lettered with brush and paint. But, like many skilled trades, the sign industry has been overrun by the techno-fueled promise of quicker and cheaper. The resulting proliferation of computer-designed, die-cut vinyl lettering and inkjet printers has ushered a creeping sameness into our landscape. Fortunately, there is a growing trend to seek out traditional sign painters and a renaissance in the trade.

PATON S1

La Paton S1 è una moto artigianale di linee classiche e contenuti tecnologici moderni. 

Un'opera d'arte su due ruote, nata dalla tradizione Paton per tutti gli appassionati di moto vere.

Per motorizzare questa stupenda bicilindirca è stato scelto il motore delle Kawasaki Er-6, motore molto simile al bicilindrico Paton 500 nato nel 1964. A partire dalla fasatura degli scoppi a 180°, che genera l'inconfondibile sound Paton, la distribuzione bialbero a 4 valvole per cilindro e il cambio estraibile.
La Paton S1 pesa 160 kg a secco, la carrozzeria è costituita da serbatoio e sellino in alluminio realizzati a mano, la carenatura è in vetroresina.
Il telaio è realizzato ad hoc, in tubi di acciaio e con saldature in ottone a vista.
Le quote caratteristiche parlano di 25° di inclinazione del cannotto di sterzo e 105 mm di avancorsa.
Il forcellone posteriore è in lamiera di alluminio piegata e con saldature in vista, con una coppia di ammortizzatori Öhlins.
La forcella è Paioli con steli tradizionali, le ruote sono a raggi con cerchi in lega leggera.

L'inizio della produzione è previsto a inizio marzo 2014, per consegnare le prime moto a partire dalla tarda primavera, a un prezzo orientativo di 25.600 euro.

Oggi ricorre il compleanno del solo e uno King of Rock'n Roll , io lo voglio ricordare cosi nel giorno del suo ritorno dopo la parentesi Hollywoodiana  nel massimo del suo splendore .

Ricomincia una delle gare più massacranti al mondo, i piloti che vi partecipano sono degni della mia massima ammirazione perchè sono capaci di cose incredibili come quei matti che corrono al TT ...hanno tutti più attributi che cervello .

Una moto che dà soddisfazioni anche al solo ascolto 

 Secondo voi come mai la serie Ducati Classic non ha avuto fortuna nel nostro mercato ? Prezzo alto , poche prestazioni , look poco accattivante ? Chi ha sbagliato loro o noi a non comprarla ?

Lossa Engineering 1970 Honda CL450

La moto come terapia riabilitativa da una lunga malattia , ecco quello che ha significato questa Honda CL 450 Per Jay La Rossa, ci racconta lui stesso come è nata l'idea e come l'ha realizzata.  

I haven’t built a bike for myself in over 3 years.  So after a horrible 2012 getting cancer again, doing chemotherapy, full body radiation and having a bone marrow transplant.  I was aching to build something I have thought about for years and use the build as therapy while I was recovering to get back into the swing of things.  Everyone knows me for building cafe bikes, well, I actually build motorcycles, any brand any model as long as they are from the 60’s or 70’s.  I wanted to build something I could take off-road or jump off a curb and actually carry stuff with me when I ride.  I bought the donor bike a few years ago and it was soo clean I was unsure if I wanted to even modify it.  But being someone who can never leave good enough or perfect alone, I had to take it to the extreme.  I was collecting many parts for the build over the next few years while it was just sat upstairs in my personal work area.  I did a little mock up here and there over the years to dial in some of the parts I wanted to use.  Then I started to spend every saturday just working on the fabrication.  I basically had to assemble and build the whole bike as it was going to be finished before it was taken apart for all the plating and coatings.  The 40 cal. ammo cans were custom mounted with 70’s Hondaline saddle bag mounts that I chopped up so they would come off and on easy.  The exhaust had to mount under the left side ammo can and the rear suspension was a lot taller so custom gearing and clearance for the chain was needed.  Every nut and bolt that I was using had to be accounted for and all the chrome had to be stripped before the zinc plating.  After mock up everything went out to powder coating, yellow zinc plating, anodizing and paint.  The ammo cans house solar panels from Goal Zero, they charge a flashlight and speakers form Goal Zero too and they charge my iPhone while I ride.  They will charge anything with a USB port.  The tail light is a model A reproduction from Lick’s cycle that I bought over 5 years ago and it pretty much sums up my 2012 year and how I felt against the world!

Dopo avervi fatto vedere il Capitolo 1 di quest Ducati Monster che stanno realizzando Ferruccio Codutti e il suo allievo Gianfanco Lizzi , ora vi mostro quest'altro video che mostra parzialmente il grande lavoro che è stato svolto su questa moto . Aspettiamo ansiosi che la moto sia completata ...per quello che mi riguarda io sono già soddisfatto di quello che vedo .
