Der Traktor

Rivelazione di quest'anno sono stati i ragazzi di Officine Sbrannetti , nel giro di 9 mesi sono passati da zero a essere sotto le luci della ribalta e lo hanno fatto con una moto che pur non essendo un cafe racer di quelle che piacciono a noi , la Der Traktor .

Un BMW GS che hanno spogliato e modificato ispirandosi ad un trattore , uno di quelli capaci di arare i campi e anche la moto dà quest'impressione .

Il serbatoio è stato sostituito con quello di una Yamaha Tenere modificato e adattato come modificato è il telaio nella parte posteriore . Altri particolari arrivano sempre dal mezzo agricolo completando la loro personale visione di questa scrambler possente .

Spero che questo sia il primo di tanti successi e il loro stile di caratterizzi cosi da far diventare i prossimi lavori subito identificabili con la loro officina

Zeroper One

Antonello Minia si è chiuso in garage per circa un anno e lavorando in maniera saltuaria alla sua Honda SLR 650 ha creato la sua scrambler .
Ora che ha finito il lavori ci teneva a mostrarmela .
Si è ispirato alle moto da regolarità anni 70 , ha messo un serbatoio Garelli 50 la sella del corsarino  e poco altro spendendo  intorno a 1200 euro tra pezzi sostituiti e comprati tutti second hands, saldatore e verniciatore per completare  la sua Zeroper One  .
Ecco una moto che non ha niente da invidiare rispetto alle scrambler che vanno tanto di moda sfornate dai personaggi che vanno di moda e che circolano in giro per il web e anche dentro il mio blog .
Quindi ora sapete che è possibile farsi la propria special senza spendere un fortuna ma solo con buon gusto e duro lavoro.

Ricomincia una delle gare più massacranti al mondo, i piloti che vi partecipano sono degni della mia massima ammirazione perchè sono capaci di cose incredibili come quei matti che corrono al TT ...hanno tutti più attributi che cervello .

Lossa Engineering 1970 Honda CL450

La moto come terapia riabilitativa da una lunga malattia , ecco quello che ha significato questa Honda CL 450 Per Jay La Rossa, ci racconta lui stesso come è nata l'idea e come l'ha realizzata.  

I haven’t built a bike for myself in over 3 years.  So after a horrible 2012 getting cancer again, doing chemotherapy, full body radiation and having a bone marrow transplant.  I was aching to build something I have thought about for years and use the build as therapy while I was recovering to get back into the swing of things.  Everyone knows me for building cafe bikes, well, I actually build motorcycles, any brand any model as long as they are from the 60’s or 70’s.  I wanted to build something I could take off-road or jump off a curb and actually carry stuff with me when I ride.  I bought the donor bike a few years ago and it was soo clean I was unsure if I wanted to even modify it.  But being someone who can never leave good enough or perfect alone, I had to take it to the extreme.  I was collecting many parts for the build over the next few years while it was just sat upstairs in my personal work area.  I did a little mock up here and there over the years to dial in some of the parts I wanted to use.  Then I started to spend every saturday just working on the fabrication.  I basically had to assemble and build the whole bike as it was going to be finished before it was taken apart for all the plating and coatings.  The 40 cal. ammo cans were custom mounted with 70’s Hondaline saddle bag mounts that I chopped up so they would come off and on easy.  The exhaust had to mount under the left side ammo can and the rear suspension was a lot taller so custom gearing and clearance for the chain was needed.  Every nut and bolt that I was using had to be accounted for and all the chrome had to be stripped before the zinc plating.  After mock up everything went out to powder coating, yellow zinc plating, anodizing and paint.  The ammo cans house solar panels from Goal Zero, they charge a flashlight and speakers form Goal Zero too and they charge my iPhone while I ride.  They will charge anything with a USB port.  The tail light is a model A reproduction from Lick’s cycle that I bought over 5 years ago and it pretty much sums up my 2012 year and how I felt against the world!

Madunassa

Vista per la prima volta alla Gran Ferro 2013 la Madunassa è l'interpretazione in stile Anvil di una Honda Dominator del 1991 , quindi sovrastrutture ridotto all'osso , sella minimale e colori dove predomina il nero opaco e metallo, nuove ruote da 17 con tasselli.
