VW Golf Electric Ready to Perform at the Frankfurt Motor Show 2013


VW will presenting 2 electric cars environmentally friendly, namely VW e-up and VW e-Golf at the Frankfurt Motor Show 2013. This is an electric car version of the VW Golf is equipped with electric motors powered 115 hp with peak torque to 270 Nm.

The result VW e-Golf with the FWD system can accelerate from 0-100 kph in 10.4 seconds. On the freeway, the electric car can be sped up to 140 kph. With Li-ion battery with a capacity of 24.2 kWh, e-Golf can roam up to 190 km. The battery can be charged to 80% within 30 minutes when charged at the station fast charging CCS.

VW to offer two modes of driving : Eco and Eco +, there are four modes to enable regenerative braking: D1, D2, D3 and B. for electric motors, batteries, and gearbox developed by VW.

VW e-Golf  highly efficient energy, in which consume 12.7 kWh per 100 km. While you only pay € 3.30 to charge electrical energy every 100 miles, with electricity prices €0.258 per kWh. VW e-Golf became the first car-VW that displays major LED lighting. LED daytime running lights adorn the front of the car.
