2014 Honda Accord poised to become best-selling mid-size sedan

LOMA LINDA, Calif., Oct. 18, 2013 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- The highly acclaimed 2014 Honda Accord has joined the line of new automobiles now available at Spreen Honda. The arrival of Honda's popular sedan coincides with what industry analysts believe to be a momentous year for the Accord. Though the Toyota Camry has been established as America's best-selling mid-size sedan for the last 11 years, data suggests the Honda Accord is poised to earn that recognition in 2014.

Supported by Earth Dreams engine technology, Honda's uncompromising and responsible approach to automotive performance positions the Accord to post class-leading sales figures in 2014. Earth Dreams represents an engineering approach that simultaneously reduces mechanical friction and improves thermal efficiency in Honda engines. With respect to uncompromised performance, Earth Dreams technology allows even small engines to maximize horsepower output while maintaining a number of economic and ecological advantages.

Accord's efficient Earth Dreams engine is paired with active Eco Assist™ technology to provide drivers with a responsible alternative to less fuel-conscious vehicles. Standard Eco Assist™ functions increase fuel economy in two ways. An in-dash ECON button is first available to configure the Accord's automotive systems to operate at maximum efficiency. A set of glowing brackets then surround the gauge cluster, offering direct feedback that reinforces efficient driving habits.

Low emissions ratings additionally support the 2014 Honda Accord as a responsible sedan choice. Issued by the California Air Resources Board, the Accord earned an ultra-low-emissions vehicle rating by emitting 50 percent fewer pollutants than the average mid-size sedan.

2013 Honda Accord's are pretty much done, 2014's expected in September 2013

Well, it's been a pretty frustrating year to be selling the new bodystyle Accord, can't get any.  We've had to cancel a few orders due to Honda issuing a statement to dealers that they are done making the 2013's and that the order sheet has already been completed for the 2014's which are expected in showrooms (around Canada anyways) until late August to early September 2013.

For those of you curious about any changes, don't expect any.  I would like to see a few more colour choices here in Canada for the EX-L and Touring, but I am not holding my breath.  With this car on the cover of almost every magazine and how it's been selling, I'll just be happy to have some inventory.
